Created as a very small-production luxury edition, Filigree pays tribute to the centuries-old Portuguese tradition of filigrana — the intricate metalwork for which northern Portugal is internationally renowned. Its spectacular porcelain presentation received a gold finish before being adorned with handcrafted filigree detailing; the project’s designers describe the presentation as handmade in 24K gold. The liquid is equally unusual. According to creator Joaquim Granja, the gin was aged in barrels more than a century old, adding another remarkable dimension to a spirit conceived from the outset as an exclusive luxury object. This particular bottle is individually numbered Nº 024, a highly desirable early number from the limited production. The rear label identifies Destilaria Levira, Portugal, and confirms 500 ml and 45% ABV. With its numbered presentation, Portuguese provenance, century-old-barrel maturation and exceptional artisanal packaging, Filigree Nº 024 represents a fascinating intersection of rare spirits, Portuguese heritage and decorative art.
