Quinta do Pessegueiro Plénitude 2022 – Douro DOC Plénitude represents the Cuvée Prestige of Quinta do Pessegueiro, part of Domaines Roger Zannier. It is a limited and numbered release created from a single parcel of approximately 100-year-old old vines rooted in the Douro’s characteristic schist soils. The grapes were harvested by hand and cooled for 12 hours before being transferred by gravity into traditional granite lagares, where fermentation took place with indigenous yeasts. The wine was matured in French-oak 225-litre barrels and 600-litre casks. Deep ruby in colour, Plénitude 2022 is intense and complex, showing ripe blackberry, blueberry and black cherry, accompanied by rockrose, forest-floor, tobacco, spice and balsamic nuances. The palate is full and concentrated, with substantial but polished tannins, impressive volume and a long, persistent finish. It has received 94/100 from Revista de Vinhos and 18/20 from Grandes Escolhas.
