Quinta do Vale Meão 2015 – Douro DOC One of Portugal’s benchmark fine wines, Quinta do Vale Meão comes from the legendary estate founded in the Upper Douro by D. Antónia Adelaide Ferreira (“Ferreirinha”) in the late 19th century. The property has exceptional historical importance: its grapes once formed an important component of the original Barca Velha wines before the estate established Quinta do Vale Meão as its own flagship label. The 2015 vintage is a powerful yet refined Douro red, produced from traditional varieties including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and other indigenous grapes. It combines concentrated dark fruit with floral notes, spice, minerality and finely structured tannins, showing the depth and elegance for which Vale Meão has become internationally recognized. A prestigious, age-worthy Portuguese wine from one of the Douro’s most celebrated estates. With more than a decade of bottle evolution, the 2015 is particularly attractive for collectors of mature Portuguese fine wine.
