Eight decades of time. Four generations of craftsmanship. One extraordinary Port. Graham’s 80 Year Old Tawny Port represents one of the rarest and most prestigious expressions ever released by one of the great historic houses of Porto. Founded in 1820, W. & J. Graham’s has built its reputation over more than two centuries through exceptional vineyards, meticulous wood ageing and generations of blending expertise within the Symington family. This extraordinary 80 Year Old Tawny was created by Graham’s Master Blender Charles Symington to commemorate the 80th birthday of his father and predecessor, Peter Symington, celebrating both his distinguished career and the extraordinary stocks of mature Port preserved by generations of the family. After decades of ageing in seasoned oak casks, these exceptionally mature wines developed a remarkable concentration and complexity. Their quality ultimately persuaded Graham’s to bottle and release this exceptional blend in restricted quantities. Graham’s describes an extraordinarily smooth and polished wine of luxurious, creamy texture, revealing layers of caramel, tangerine, quince, praline and vanilla, developing towards toasted caramel before an exceptionally long finish marked by tobacco and black tea. Despite its extraordinary age and concentration, finely balanced acidity provides freshness, elegance and remarkable composure. Awarded an outstanding 97 points by Wine Enthusiast, Graham’s 80 Year Old Tawny stands among the highest expressions of aged Tawny Port. Presented here in the classic Graham’s bottle, this 750ml example remains unopened and retains its original gold capsule and Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e do Porto guarantee label, numbered CW30-780796. A remarkable opportunity to acquire a Port representing not merely decades of ageing, but generations of winemaking history.
