Antónia Adelaide Ferreira 2013 is a prestigious Douro DOC red from Casa Ferreirinha, created as a tribute to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, one of the most important figures in the history of the Douro. The 2013 combines Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, old-vine fruit and Sousão. It was matured for approximately two years in new French oak barrels, producing a structured and complex Douro red with ripe dark-fruit character, floral notes and considerable ageing potential.
