This prestigious 40 Year Old Tawny is created from carefully selected wines matured for decades in seasoned oak casks, allowing time and controlled oxidation to develop extraordinary complexity, concentration and elegance. After approximately four decades of ageing, the wine displays the characteristic depth of a great old Tawny: walnut, toasted almond, dried fig, orange peel, caramel, coffee, spice and polished wood, balanced by freshness and a remarkably long, refined finish.
