A collector’s bottle from one of Portugal’s most historic houses. Released to mark Borges’ 140th anniversary as a limited edition of just 1,000 examples,  the TN TN CXL 140 is a Touriga Nacional drawn from an archive of the grape across the house’s Dão (Quinta de São Simão da Aguieira) and Douro (Quinta da Soalheira) estates. Winemaker Fábio Maravilha selected eight barrels, four from each region, to build a blend combining the 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 vintages.  The wine aged on average 18 months in French oak barrels of 225 and 300 litres.  Deep ruby in colour, with an intense, youthful aromatic profile , bright fruit and red-fruit jam laced with vanilla and spice. The palate is powerful yet delicate, with well-defined tannins, fine acidity and a long, enveloping finish with notable ageing potential.Rated 93 points by Revista de Vinhos  and recognised among the best wines of Portugal at the 2025 Troféus Grandes Escolhas.  Presented in its original wooden gift case, which includes the commemorative book charting the 140-year history of the house. Bottled exclusively in magnum, the format collectors want.
