The Macallan Anniversary Malt 25 Year Old — 1971 Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky · 70cl · 43% Vol · With original wooden presentation box Distilled in 1971 and bottled in 1997, this is Macallan’s celebrated Anniversary Malt — a 25-year-old single malt matured exclusively in sherry casks at the Easter Elchies estate in Speyside. Introduced in 1983 alongside the legendary 50 Year Old and produced until 2004, the Anniversary Malt is prized for the rich, dried-fruit “Christmas cake in a glass” character that defined Macallan’s classic sherried era. Affordable at release, most bottles were opened and enjoyed, leaving very few on the secondary market today. Presented in its original engraved wooden box with an excellent into-the-neck fill level, this is a benchmark bottle for any serious collector of vintage Macallan.
