Produced by Tenuta San Guido in Bolgheri, Tuscany, Sassicaia pioneered the Super Tuscan movement and remains one of the most prestigious and collectible Italian wines in the world. The 2016 vintage is regarded as one of the greatest Sassicaia ever produced, earning 100 points from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc, it combines remarkable concentration with elegance, offering layers of blackcurrant, dark cherry, Mediterranean herbs, cedar, tobacco and spice, supported by refined tannins and exceptional length. Built for extended ageing and already highly sought after by collectors, the 2016 represents Sassicaia at the very highest level, a benchmark vintage from a legendary Italian estate.
