It is a genuine 80 Year Old Tawny Port, assembled from exceptionally rare reserves drawn from Taylor’s historic cellars. The individual components spent decades ageing in seasoned oak casks before being meticulously selected, blended and allowed to marry for several additional months, creating remarkable harmony and complexity. After eight decades of maturation, the wine displays extraordinary depth, with notes of molasses, caramel, coffee, golden raisins and cigar leaf, evolving into layers of nutmeg, gingerbread, anise, quince, black pepper, fig, plum pudding and apricot. Despite its immense age, the wine retains the freshness, acidity and elegance characteristic of the greatest old Tawny Ports.
