Meaning “The Beauty of the Seasons,” KI NO BI is an acclaimed Japanese craft gin created, blended and bottled in Kyoto. Built on a rice-spirit base, KI NO BI combines traditional gin structure with distinctly Japanese ingredients. Its botanicals are separated into six flavour groups, distilled independently and subsequently blended to achieve balance and precision. The official botanical composition includes juniper, orris, akamatsu Japanese red pine, yuzu, lemon, gyokuro green tea, ginger, red shiso, bamboo leaves, sanshō pepper and kinome. The result is a dry, elegant Japanese gin combining bright yuzu citrus with juniper, green tea, aromatic spice and the distinctive peppery character of sanshō. The presentation also has a strong connection to Kyoto craftsmanship: the label design was developed with Kira Karacho, whose karakami decorative-paper heritage dates to 1624.
