Gin Ria Brisa – Best Portuguese Contemporary Gin, World Gin Awards 2022 – 700ml

Gin Ria Brisa is an artisanal Portuguese gin inspired by the Ria de Aveiro, its coastal landscape, aromas and the iconic striped palheiros that characterize the region—reflected directly in the distinctive blue-and-white bottle design. The Gin Ria project began in 2012 and was patented in 2017. Production follows a deliberately slow, traditional approach, using handcrafted copper equipment and carefully selected aromatic herbs. Brisa is triple distilled and bottled at 40% ABV. The botanical composition includes grain alcohol, orange blossom, juniper from Serra da Estrela, lemon leaf and lemongrass, producing an aromatic, fresh and distinctly Portuguese interpretation of contemporary gin. Most importantly for the listing, Gin Ria Brisa was named Best Portuguese Contemporary Gin at the World Gin Awards 2022. The award is also displayed on the bottle itself and confirmed by the producer.
