Dez Tostões Grande Reserva 2021 represents one of the premium expressions of Herdade da Maroteira, the historic Alentejo estate whose origins date to the 19th century. Produced from carefully selected fruit and vinified under the direction of renowned Portuguese winemaker António Maçanita, this Grande Reserva is a powerful expression of the Alentejo, combining concentration with freshness and structure. Deep ruby in colour, it delivers an intense aromatic profile dominated by blackberry and dark forest fruits, spice and mature oak nuances. The palate is full and concentrated, with generous fruit, pronounced structure and firm tannins leading into a persistent finish. The 2021 has attracted particularly strong consumer recognition, currently carrying approximately 4.5/5 on Vivino from 128 ratings, a notably high score for the category.
