Neptune Code 0.6 2015 is the fourth release in the ultra-limited Wines From Another World collection, following Jupiter, Uranus and Saturn. Created in collaboration with celebrated Tuscan winemaker Bibi Graetz, Neptune originates from Lamole and Olmo in Tuscany, combining fruit from exceptional high-altitude sites. It is produced from 100% Sangiovese, including fruit from old vines at Lamole. The 2015 wine underwent an extraordinary 10 years of maturation in old barrels before release, an unusually long élevage intended to preserve the character of the vintage while developing considerable complexity. Production was limited to just 562 bottles, making Neptune one of the smallest-production releases in the WFAW series. The bottle offered here is accompanied by its distinctive original Neptune presentation case, outer presentation box and WFAW documentation, as shown in the photographs.
