A limited-production Quinta da Vacaria Grande Reserva Tinto 2020, produced at one of the historic estates of the Douro, whose documented history dates to 1616. This Grande Reserva represents one of Quinta da Vacaria’s premium Douro reds. The producer describes the 2020 as deep ruby in colour, with red and black fruits including blackberry and currant, accompanied by spice and subtle toasted notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and elegant, with fine integrated tannins, freshness and a long, precise finish. The 2020 incorporates Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and old-vine material (Vinhas Velhas), according to published Quinta da Vacaria wine listings. Most importantly for this bottle, the front label identifies it as Bottle No. 0592 of a limited production of only 1,788 bottles, giving the example additional interest for collectors. The bottle is presented with its distinctive burgundy wax closure and embossed estate seal. The label and closure appear in excellent condition in the supplied photographs.
