One of the more unusual and collectible discontinued releases in the history of Johnnie Walker. Introduced in 1997, Johnnie Walker Quest was created as an ultra-premium expression and was originally positioned above Johnnie Walker Blue Label within the range. It was released primarily for the Asian travel-retail market and remained in production for only a relatively short period before being discontinued. Presented as “Cask Conditioned Scotch Whisky,” Quest belongs to an era when John Walker & Sons was experimenting with prestige blends beyond the familiar colour-label hierarchy. Today, surviving bottles have become increasingly sought after by collectors of discontinued Johnnie Walker releases. The distinctive tall 750ml bottle features embossed Striding Man artwork incorporated directly into the glass, accompanied by the original dark-blue presentation carton decorated with gold Johnnie Walker imagery.
