The bottle incorporates a gold representation of Taiwan together with commemorative Year of the Horse detailing, transforming an already prestigious Scotch into a distinctive collector’s edition. Released in 2014, surviving examples have become increasingly sought after by collectors of special-edition Johnnie Walker bottlings. The Taiwan Year of the Horse edition continues to appear at specialist whisky auctions, with a recent example achieving €450 at auction.
