Produced in small batches by Picole Spiritueux in Québec, Canada, this artisanal gin is built around an unusually vibrant combination of citrus and tropical fruit. The producer describes pronounced notes of citrus and tropical fruits, complemented by mango, orange, elderflower and blackberry. The result is a fruit-forward, aromatic style that moves away from the more traditional juniper-dominant London Dry profile. Picole also participates in 1% for the Planet, committing 1% of annual sales to environmental organizations. An uncommon Canadian craft gin in the European market and an interesting bottle for collectors of contemporary and international small-batch spirits.
