An extraordinary interpretation of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Xordinaire combines some of the house’s rarest Scotch whiskies with an unusual and luxurious finishing regime in hand-selected French XO Cognac casks. Created under Master Blender Emma Walker, Xordinaire was launched in 2023 specifically for the global travel-retail market. Johnnie Walker states that the blend draws from its exceptional reserves, with only around one cask in 10,000 considered suitable for Blue Label. What distinguishes Xordinaire from standard Blue Label is its finish in former French XO Cognac casks, adding another dimension of richness, sweetness and fruit to the character of the blend. The official profile highlights dried fruit, toasted toffee and ripe black cherry, followed by bright orchard fruit, peach and soft spice. Presented here with its striking original navy-and-gold Xordinaire presentation case, this is one of the more distinctive modern Blue Label releases and an attractive bottle for collectors of special-edition Johnnie Walker.
