Quinta do Vale Meão 2011; Douro DOC, Portugal One of Portugal’s most prestigious and collectible red wines, produced at the historic Quinta do Vale Meão estate in the Douro Superior. The 2011 vintage is regarded as an exceptional release, combining remarkable concentration, structure and elegance. Produced from traditional Douro varieties, predominantly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca, it delivers layers of ripe black fruit, violet, spice, graphite and finely integrated oak. Powerful yet refined, with excellent freshness, polished tannins and an exceptionally long finish. A highly acclaimed vintage with outstanding ageing potential and a superb example of modern Douro winemaking.
