A mature release of Quinta da Leda, Casa Ferreirinha’s distinguished Douro red produced from fruit grown principally at Quinta da Leda in the Douro Superior. The 2011 combines traditional Douro varieties including Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, producing a concentrated, structured wine with dark fruit, floral and balsamic characteristics and integrated oak. The vintage was very highly regarded: Sogrape’s contemporary catalogue records 95 points from Robert Parker and a Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Your bottle presents very well for a 15-year-old wine, with a clean label and intact capsule.
