A three-bottle lot of Niepoort Redoma Reserva Branco 2018, one of the benchmark age-worthy white wines of Portugal’s Douro Valley. Redoma Reserva Branco is produced from old, high-altitude Douro vineyards planted predominantly on mica-schist soils. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation in French oak barrels followed by ageing on fine lees, with the final selection focused on the barrels showing the greatest mineral character, complexity and ageing potential. The 2018 vintage combines concentration with freshness and minerality. Falstaff rated the 2018 91–93 points, describing an elegant, structured wine with white-peach and stone-fruit character and a persistent mineral finish. The bottles shown retain their original capsules, labels and Portuguese guarantee seals. Bottled in 2019.
