Rare Blended Scotch Whisky carries an impressive 35-year age statement, placing it among the oldest blended Scotch whiskies released by the independent bottler. Distilled, matured and bottled in Scotland, the whisky was assembled from carefully selected malt and grain whiskies, with every component matured for a minimum of 35 years before blending. The result is an extraordinarily mature Scotch displaying the depth expected from more than three decades in oak: rich malt, dark chocolate, sweet mature oak, dried and orchard fruits and toasted nut character, followed by a long, smooth and decadent finish. Presented in the distinctive red-label Rare Blend edition, this example is the 750 ml / 40% ABV release, a format that is now difficult to find on the secondary market. The bottle remains sealed with an excellent fill level, clean labels and an intact original closure, making it particularly attractive both for drinking and for collectors of mature Scotch whisky.
