Cem Reis Syrah Reserva 2021 is the flagship Syrah from Herdade da Maroteira, located in Portugal’s Alentejo region. Produced exclusively from hand-harvested Syrah grapes grown on the estate’s schist soils, the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (approximately 75% new oak). It displays a deep, concentrated profile with aromas of ripe blackberries, plums, violets, black pepper, cocoa, and sweet spices. Full-bodied yet elegant, it offers silky tannins, excellent structure, and remarkable aging potential, making it one of Alentejo’s finest expressions of Syrah.
