An exceptional presentation from The Macallan and one of the signature releases of the prestigious 1824 Masters / Masters Decanter Series. The Macallan Reflexion was introduced in 2014, originally sitting at the upper end of the 1824 Masters Series. It is now discontinued, adding considerably to its appeal among Macallan collectors. Created exclusively from whisky matured in first-fill Spanish and American oak casks seasoned with sherry, Reflexion used a high proportion of smaller hogshead casks, increasing the interaction between spirit and oak. The whisky is presented in a striking, heavy glass decanter designed to showcase its naturally deep mahogany colour, accompanied by the distinctive luxury presentation case visible in this lot. The profile is rich and polished, with notes associated with orange, apple and white chocolate, developing toward caramel, dried fruit and warming oak spice.
