Taboadella Grande Villae Branco 2022 is a premium Dão white conceived as an expression of the estate’s granite terroir and the Encruzado grape. Taboadella describes the wine as firm and concentrated yet exceptionally precise, with a silky texture, fine linearity, vibrant freshness and the pronounced granitic minerality characteristic of the Dão. The finish is long and persistent. This is also a wine with real ageing potential rather than a simple young Portuguese white. Grandes Escolhas awarded the 2022 18 points and designated it “Beber ou Guardar”; it also received the publication’s Escolha da Imprensa 2025 and Escolha do Mercado 2026 distinctions.
