Passadouro Reserva 2019 is a premium Douro red produced from vineyards in the heart of Portugal’s Douro Valley. The 2019 vintage benefited from moderate summer temperatures and dry conditions, producing healthy grapes with excellent natural acidity and freshness. The Reserva comes from old vineyards planted on traditional schist terraces, with vines reaching approximately 75 years of age. The resulting wine combines concentration with freshness and structure, showing dark and wild fruit, spice, integrated oak and firm tannins, followed by a long, persistent finish. Only 7,663 bottles of the 2019 Reserva were produced, with bottling taking place in May 2021.
