A six-bottle collection of Quinta da Leda 2018, one of the benchmark Douro reds from Casa Ferreirinha, the historic house behind Barca Velha. Produced exclusively from selected parcels at Quinta da Leda in the Douro Superior, the 2018 combines 41% Touriga Franca, 34% Touriga Nacional, 13% Tinto Cão and 12% Tinta Roriz. The wine matured for 18 months in French oak, 50% new and 50% used, before bottling. The 2018 combines concentration with freshness and elegance, showing dark and red fruit, floral and balsamic notes, spice, cedar and fine mineral character. The palate is structured by polished tannins and lively acidity, leading to a long, harmonious finish. The vintage has strong critical recognition, including 96/100 Decanter, 94/100 Wine Spectator, 94/100 James Suckling and 90/100 Wine Advocate.
