Argintario Gin is a terroir-driven Italian gin created by Azienda Agraria Santa Lucia as an expression of the wild coastal landscape of Monte Argentario in southern Tuscany. The spirit draws inspiration from the estate’s historic Ansonica vineyards, the Mediterranean scrubland and the surrounding Tyrrhenian Sea. Its botanical composition combines juniper with lemon balm, bitter orange and jasmine, complemented by hand-harvested mastic and sea fennel. A touch of grape distillate links the gin directly to Santa Lucia’s winemaking heritage and its Ansonica vineyards. The result is distinctly Mediterranean: citrus and floral aromas lead into herbal, balsamic and gently saline notes, with the grape component providing a softer underlying character. Gin Embassy describes jasmine and mastic on the nose, honeyed citrus nuances on the palate and a more pronounced bitter-orange character when served with tonic. The blue bottle and wordplay in the name ar-GIN-tario reference Monte Argentario itself, making this a particularly regional expression rather than simply another Italian craft gin.
