Aviation American Gin Expedition Strength is a special Travel Exclusive expression created specifically for global travel retail. Presented in the larger 1-litre format and bottled at an elevated 46.5% ABV, Expedition Strength takes Aviation’s signature botanical profile and gives it greater concentration, intensity and structure than the standard expression. The gin uses Aviation’s seven-botanical recipe, incorporating juniper, cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla and orange peel. The result is deliberately less juniper-dominated than a traditional London Dry style, with bright citrus, floral and spicy characteristics. The aromatic profile offers notes of sarsaparilla, floral sweetness and Parma violet, followed by orange zest and spice, with a lingering finish of citrus peel and juniper. Released as a travel-retail exclusive, this 1L Expedition Strength bottling represents a less commonly encountered version of Aviation American Gin and is particularly appealing to collectors of travel-exclusive and limited-distribution spirits.
