Monkey 47 Experimentum Series Collection – 2y06 London & 2y08 Mexico City – Limited Editions – 2x 50cl

An exceptional pair from Monkey 47’s highly limited Experimentum Series, created at the Black Forest Distillers’ experimental Booze Lab in Germany. The first is 2y06 London, bottle No. 348, dated 19 October 2021. Inspired by the traditional British Sunday roast, this extraordinary spirit combines Monkey 47 with a distillate based around mint sauce, vinegar, pearl onion and honey. The second is 2y08 Mexico City, bottle L2y08/417, dated 10 December 2022. Inspired by Mexico City, this release incorporates prickly pear — tunas — harvested and processed by hand before distillation. Experimentum was conceived as a laboratory series exploring unconventional extraction, maceration and distillation techniques beyond traditional gin production. Each release was produced in quantities of no more than 500 bottles worldwide, making surviving boxed examples particularly attractive to Monkey 47 collectors.
