PortugalType: Red Wine / Regional Alentejano Wine Vintage: 2015 Limited Edition: Exclusive batch of 2,729 bottles (this bottle corresponds to the number visible on the label). Alcohol Content: 15% vol. (as visible on the label) Capacity: 750 ml Grape Varieties: Aragonez, Trincadeira, and Alicante Bouschet Soil and Climate: Vineyards planted in red or yellow soils of schist or graywacke (non-calcareous), under the influence of a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and high temperature ranges. Harvest: Manual, carried out at optimal ripeness, with grapes transported to the winery in boxes. Winemaking: Following total destemming, the wine underwent foot treading in a marble lagar for 48 hours (to enhance pre-fermentative skin contact). Fermentation took place in 10 new French oak spin barrels (500L), followed by two weeks of skin maceration. Aging: 24 months in new 225L French oak barrels, being an unfiltered wine. Visual Appearance: Limpid wine with a deep garnet color. Aroma: Complex and intense, highlighting notes of spices, cocoa, and licorice. Palate: Rich, velvety, and enveloping flavor, structured with round, robust tannins and an elegant, fresh, and highly persistent finish. Serving Temperature: Between 16°C and 18°C (prior decantation is recommended due to the wine being unfiltered). Gastronomy: Ideal to accompany elaborate red meat dishes, game, cured sausages, and intense cheeses. Aging Potential: Between 20 to 30 years, provided it is stored lying down in a cool, dark place without thermal fluctuations.
